Which curriculum do you follow?

At Teeny Beans, we use the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Curriculum. It is the same curriculum that is used in preschools and nurseries in England for children aged 0-5. It was introduced in 2008 and is based on the belief that young children learn best through play and hands-on experiences. The curriculum is designed to support children's development in the following areas:

  • Communication and language

  • Physical development

  • Personal, social, and emotional development

  • Literacy

  • Mathematics

  • Understanding the world

  • Expressive arts and design

The EYFS curriculum is divided into two parts: the Statutory Framework, which sets out the legal requirements for the curriculum, and Development Matters, which provides guidance for practitioners on how to plan and deliver activities that support children's learning and development.

The curriculum is made to be flexible and adaptable to the needs and interests of each child. It also encourages teachers and care givers to watch and evaluate children's learning and development so that they can plan activities that are right for their age and stage of development.

We provide our partner preschool curriculum as per NEP 2020. Some amends were made in the education system as per the National Education Policy of 2020. These changes ensure better growth prospects for children through structured learning. Teeny Beans’ international preschool curriculum makes sure to follow all these guidelines suggested by NEP to increase the credibility of our play school curriculum.
